I have sampled the AIKIDO sound ...more.... and found it interesting. I decided to make it another project for me !
The power-supply transformers will again be < Made by Setiawan >
I plan to fit out the forthcoming AIKIDO front panel chassis with a pair of moving analog VU panel meters.
But YEO from DIY Paradise << more >> suggested me something SLICK .......

Magic Eyes !
6E5 magic eye tube
B+ 250Vdc , 6.3 heaters, octal sockets, horizontal mount

I want to save expenses as much as possible and uses a "poor-man's" chassis, a old thrown-away desktop tower.
When cleaned, a desk computer CPU chassis offers a lot of room to play around

John Brosky has kindly given me a direction of using a Line-Output-Transformer (LOT) on the AIKIDO.
Based on the 12SN7 tubes used, a pair of the swedish Lundalh LL1660 was purchased.

Having a AZ1 meshplate on the DHT26 did made me sort-of-a-fan of this particular type of tube. I still have some of them guys in the tube drawer.
Thus, I plan to revamp the power-supply circuit incorporating a meshplate AZ1 or AZ11 to rectify the raw supply.
stay tuned..........
