SURFING MUSIC SOUND-WAVES

Music is one of the most valuable gifts given by God to mankind. Music fills our inner-being and does wonderful things to mind, soul and body

Amplifiers and Players

 My first Hi-Fi gear- a small solid-state Kenwood TA2002

Bought  in 1971 and still performing excellently.  It is paired with a QUAD CDP-66 and Mordaunt Short bookshelves.

 08 Oct2009 - Note : QUAD66 now moved to my daughters apartment.

I have to replace the QUAD  with another.

 The family room system .

SEI GoldenTube SE40 blocks (lower rack) driven by the Shanling T100 CDP (upper right rack) and a Conrad-Johnson PV10A preamplifier (upper left rack)) and driving Proac Response 3 Signature  floorstands.

( Further details in  "Golden Tube SE40"  page )

SEI 300B

The first DIY

It was successfully completed but not my fancy.

SEI 2A3

The  second DIY ,  cloned after the famous SunAudio 2A3.

( Further details in "My SE2A3 amplifier" page )

My 2A3  is geared to accept  tube equivalents, the 6A3 and 6B4G . A external  heater supply provides selection of 2.5V or 6.3V depending what tube ( 2A3 , 6A3 or 6B4G) is used.

The DHT26 line-amplifier, my best sounding  line amplifier

Comment :  Unable to compete with the DHT26. Longer term plan to recycle its parts .
