SURFING MUSIC SOUND-WAVES

I read various articles in the internet about the virtuose of the 300B nicknamed "the King of Tubes", so I took my first step and selected  the "simplest " (to my perception)  300B schematic from Dick Triode's homepage :

Drilling the tube holes in the top plate was my first "mistake" as a rooky. I should never choose "steel" as top plate, its tough ! . It  took  me averagely a day to finish just two holes !
